We had an absolutely wonderful stay. It was by far the nicest accomodation that we have ever stayed in. The positioning near the creek was fantastic along with our nice visits from some very friendly wildlife. Breaky basket was a great idea as it removes the need to head out for breakfast. The decor inside was warm and elegant and the outdoor area is great giving you plenty of room to move around and view the creek from different areas and eat breakfast outdoors.
We will definately be back and will tell our friends and family about how nice it was.
Thank You Julie C May 2013
Dearest Wayne and Christine, Wow wow wow! We're loss for words. You take customer service to the next level that puts every place we ever stay to shame. We have never felt so truly welcome. We can't remember ever feeling instantly relaxed, then we walked into the wicked wicked chalet and we were breathless. Simply spectacular surroundings, tranquillity at its best. Outstanding hampers. Falling asleep to the sound of the natural stream memorising we wish we could stay here forever. We will be back, in the meantime the budgies will remind us of this special place. Thank you so much for these beautiful memories.Adrian & Susan (April 2013)

Sorry, but I haven't left feedback yet! Here it is.
I have stayed in many fabulous places through out Europe , the Greek Islands etc. I remember sitting in front of the fire, sipping on a glass of red and thinking, this is as good as anywhere I've stayed in the world. Magnificent !

Wayne and Christine,
This place is BREATHTAKING. Our stay was simply beautiful. So glad we didn't go overseas for our honeymoon! This is way better than anything Thailand orl Bali has to offer. We are feeling at total Zen, and were kinda hoping we would get stuck up here a bit longer. We will be back with our children

Hi, I arranged a couple of nights at the Mouse's House for my parents last week. I just want to say thank you very much - they really needed a break and they cannot stop talking about how lovely a time they had.
I only wish I had booked them an extra night!
Thanks again, Louise (Jan 2013)

Hi Wayne & Christine,
I wanted to take a moment to say a very big Thank You for enabling us to have a wonderful family holiday.
It's been 15 years since we last stayed at The Mouse House and this time we returned with our two girls (14 & 11) – both who enjoyed themselves immensely. This girls enjoyed every part of their week, especially being so close to the wildlife. We stayed in Bashful which suited our needs as a family.
Thank you again to you and your staff for providing an exceptional holiday destination. We found any staff that we crossed in our paths to be extremely friendly and welcoming. We will definitely be back (hopefully in winter). Congratulations and thank you again.
Regards

Hi Wayne and Christine, My husband and I recently stayed at the Mouse House in the Sleeping Beauty chalet from 28 September to 1 October 2012. This was our second visit to the Mouses House, previously staying in the Bashful Chalet back in April 2010. We thoroughly enjoyed our recent visit to the Mouse House and had a fantastic time. The chalet was beautiful and amazing. The breakfast hamper we received was great and was more than enough food for breakfasts during our stay. The chalet was clean, tidy and has a beautiful atmosphere and surroundings. We love Springbrook and the surrounding area and we had lunch at the manor, went to Twin Falls and Purlingbrook Falls, the Fudge Shop and the Glow Worms. We absolutely loved the Mouses Houses glass dishes in the chalet, we went and visited the lady who makes them for you to see if we could buy one for ourselves as a souvenier but unfortunately she did not have any available. The only issue we found during our stay (which was not really an issue) is that we had problems opening the window in the bedroom, the window lock would not unlock. However, that was just a very minor issue and certainly did not affect our stay at the Mouses House. We look forward to coming back again and this time we would like to either stay in the Cinderella or Snow White chalet. Thank you again for a wonderful weekend away, we absolutely love the Mouses House and can't wait to come back in the future. Kind Regards, Leanne and Michael

My boyfriend and I headed to the Mouse's House to celebrate our 1 yr anniversary. We both have quite stressful jobs and also work 7 day rosters so we were looking forward to just having some time together.
The Mouse's House did not disappoint! We stayed in the gorgouse luxury spa and stream chalet and were impressed from the moment we arrived. Great service, romantic/private chalet and a gorgouse location.
We really enjoyed going for hikes in the national park and coming home to relax in the hot tub.
We will be coming back! SimmyT13

I have lived on the Gold Coast and have stayed at many hotels around here. Not only that I work as a five star hotel manager. The moment I walked into check in, I was greeted with professionalism, and such a friendly attitude. The cabins are fantastic the surrounding environment could not be more relaxing and to be treated like gold by their staff made our stay perfect. You will not regret staying at this gem. Triks74

WOW!!!!!! The mouses House is so special, from the moment i walked onto the property i fell in love with the place. We stayed in dopey which is one the 'cheaper' rooms but you would never know as it was complete luxery. The hosts are super friendly and helpful, willing to help with anything. The room was amazing, complete with massive spa bath, great internal heating, my son slept up in the loft ( which is still a queen sized room ) and at night we had fun feeding the friendly possoms for over an hour. I dont have anything bad to say about this place, not a single thing. We will be going back for years to come im sure!!!! Best holiday ever and springbrook is just heaven on earth with all the lookouts and waterfalls and walking tracks. You wont regret staying here i promise you!!!!!!!! Nicky Bundaberg

Dear Wayne and Christine,
Sorry we did not get a chance to fill out your feedback form. We had a great time at the Mouses House staying in 'Grumpy', located next to a beautiful stream. It is a magical environment and we hope to return some day - what an experience. Your hospitality was marvellous and we felt really looked after. Thanks for the loan of the raincoat which was needed for the first couple of days. I cannot think of much that could be improved upon. Shower had great water pressure and plenty of hot water. Spa was lovely. Very comfortable chalet. We look forward to our next visit.
All the best Francesca and Andrew

Hi Wayne and family,
My fiancé and I just spent the weekend in "Sneezy" and I just wanted to let you know that I've not been able to stop telling people about it at work today. When we arrived on Friday night it was quite dark so we couldn't really appreciate the surrounds of where we were staying however I thought the softly lit pathway up to our chalet was beautiful.
Entering the chalet for the first time certainly had the "wow" factor for us. It was so much more than we expected. Just the feeling of being "at home" and comfort/coziness everywhere we looked, and as we walked through the cabin and discovered that comfort extending all the way through…it was spectacular!
Waking up Saturday morning and listening to the running water in the stream and the songs of the different birds was just magical. Stepping outside for the first time, I was like a child running back inside to tell my fiancé to hurry up and get out of bed just so he could see the gorgeous setting we were in. Again, all we could do was stand there with mouths agape and say "wow".
We lead very busy lives (as do most people these days) so to have a weekend where the biggest decision we had to make was whether we needed to throw another log on the fire or not, was just superb. It was the first time in months that both of us really got to relax and unwind, and that magical feeling we got of being the only couple there was fantastic.
Words really cannot express how fantastic our time was at the Mouses House or how the rainforest adds that "enchanted" feeling to the mix, but I do know we will definitely be back for another weekend to do nothing but relax!
And I'm sure you hear this all the time, but the only down side to the entire weekend was Sunday morning when we had to check out. It was quite a shock when we returned to civilization…all the more reason for us to come back as soon as possible!
Thank you again, and I will keep telling people how fabulous your establishment is! Cheers, Yolanda

For the first time in months we finally relaxed. Although we brought the laptop, it remained unused except to download the amazing photos of the rainforest and numerous waterfalls. The service at the Mouses House is outstanding. The chalets are beautiful and the location of them into the rainforest is the perfect setting for a relaxing spa or hot tub, with a roaring log fire and a great glass of red. When we got to the end of our stay we were actually tempted to extend our holiday and hide in the luxurious cabins for a few more days. Take it from people who work hard almost everyday, we were amazed at how quickly we relaxed and enjoyed the absolute beauty of the Mouses House, the staff, the cabins, the surroundings. It is a luxury you need to have in your life. It is definately something we look forward to doing again.

Recently we visited the Mouses House for the second time. Could't believe how much it has improved since the last time we stayed. Beautifully decorated and cosy chalet that we stayed in. Very relaxing and quiet. Loved how we had our very own spa right next to the stream that was flowing right passed our chalet. Definately the only place we would stay again at Springbrook. We stayed in Sleepy for three nights over the Christmas Holiday. What an amazing place! The chalets were gorgeous nestled in the rainforest and just steps from the Springbook National Park trails. The staff were great and went above and beyond to accomodate us when there was a misunderstanding regarding our booking. Although it was a great family holiday, I would love to go back for a quiet getaway for my husband and I. Debbie N Kaukauna, Wisconsin, United States

My husband and I will never forget our magical stay in "Grumpy's House" at the Mouses House Retreat. Our chalet in the heart of the rainforest overlooked a gushing river and we spent our first evening on the deck at river's side barbecuing up the delicious food provided for us in the hugely generous gourmet dinner basket. (This was our favorite dinner of our whole Australian stay.) During the day we hiked the breathtaking trails right down the road, lunched at a pleasant cafe recommended to us by our host, and visited a fascinating Glow Worm Tour. At night, we returned to our chalet via boardwalks through the rainforest (romantically lit by small glowing lights and a wonderful adventure of their own.) Our chalet was extremely well equipped: the kitchen with silverware, dishes, stove, pans, refrigerator.... the bathroom with fluffy towels and sweet smelling shampoos and soaps... I could go on and on. This is the rainforest, so I think you must expect some bugs, BUT strangely we never saw a single bug in our spotless chalet. I'm not sure how this is even possible. We did see some wonderful opossums which came to our glass door and peered in at us, adding greatly to the thrill of our stay. My husband and I would both like to thank the Mouses House and particularly its thoughtful host for providing us with an unforgettable stay.

My wife and I recently celebrated our 21st wedding anniversary at "The Mouses House". We chose "Snow White" as the chalet for our special occasion situated on the bubbling brook. I must say it was brilliant!! The rainforest setting and the chalets far exceeded my expectations and the accommodation is exceptionally well priced considering the luxury and privacy. The hot tub/spa situated on the edge of the stream is just on of the many luxury appointments. So close to Brisbane and equally as good if not better than comparative chalets in Far North Queensland. We have already booked our anniversary for next year...can't wait!! The owners/hosts are very kind and friendly also, only to willing to assist with your stay. This is a must for anybody seeking a rainforest hideaway for a romantic weekend.

We stayed in a chalet by a stream for one night, and they had to call the police to make us leave --- we will stay longer next time, and there will be a next time!
All I can say is that the location and design of these chalets is outstanding ,only to be surpassed by the decoration and amenities-- I have travelled reasonably extensively and have never seen better.Multiple towells and robes so thick you need help to lift them, every top class appliance in the kitchens,2 LCD televisions, the big one near the log fire and beautiful soft leather lounge. I could go on but you need to see this rainforest hideaway for yourself atleast once, but be warned, you will want to come back.Take a stroll around all the paths to see one beautiful scene after another. benthebeagle Gold Coast
